We recognize that every person has unique aspirations and evolving needs, and we reject one-size-fits-all approaches in favor of personalized, holistic experiences that empower people to shape their own lives. Hudson Valley InterArts Center


Housed in an impressive, beautifully designed 15,000 Sq Ft dedicated to the arts, Hudson Valley InterArts offers a safe and inclusive environment where artistic practices serve as a bridge for authentic human connection and communication. By leveraging the universal languages of art, music, and performance, we foster relationships and shared humanity across diverse backgrounds. Our partnership with Community Based Services enriches a decades-long commitment to inclusive and purpose-driven programming, addressing societal and public health needs for genuine connection and emotional engagement. At Hudson Valley InterArts, every individual finds a meaningful outlet for creative expression and self-discovery, cultivating a vibrant community where everyone can lead an engaged and purposeful life. To extend the benefits of this program to even more people, we aim to establish satellite classes in Northern Dutchess and Ulster counties. Your generous donations can help us make this vision a reality, ensuring that those who are unable to travel to the art center can still access these transformative classes.

Meet Nicole


Meet Nicole, a shining example of the transformative power of the arts and your invaluable support. As a participant in the Without Walls program, Nicole's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Through innovative programming at Cultivating Dreams farm and the Hudson Valley InterArts Center, Nicole has discovered a world of creativity and possibility.


From painting in the renovated art barn to captivating audiences on stage in The Grinch production, Nicole's experiences in the arts have been truly life-changing. Her journey includes being featured in the "Inclusion Is..." video and exploring the joy of dance, all of which have profoundly impacted her social and emotional well-being.

Nicole eloquently sums up her love for art, stating, "I love art because it really helps me. The stress that builds up in our bodies, art helps that!" Her words encapsulate the profound healing and therapeutic benefits that the arts offer, touching lives in ways words alone cannot express.

Cultivating Dreams Farm


Our Cultivating Dreams farm is another cornerstone of our mission, providing people of all abilities the chance to explore agricultural opportunities and develop valuable vocational skills in an environment that is completely accessible. Nestled on the farm is a fully furnished house, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for peer socialization and a holistic experience including healthy cooking and eating, wellness, and independent living skills. To enhance this program, we are seeking support to acquire essential equipment such as a tractor and gardening tools. This addition will not only expand the scope of our programming but also contribute to the overall sustainability and growth of the farm.

Andrew: Planting the Seeds for Success


Allow me to share with you the inspiring success story of Andrew, an active participant in our programs for several years. Andrew, a determined and energetic young man, has found immense joy and purpose in our Cultivating Dreams Farm. Through the various activities offered, including learning the basics of planting, raising, and harvesting crops, honing independent living skills, and engaging in team-building activities, Andrew has blossomed into a confident and capable individual. He runs the Cultivating Dreams booth at the Taste of NY Farmers Market, where he sells the produce he has helped to grow.

Residential and Community Services


Our commitment extends to providing residential and community services that empower adults with I/DD to lead fulfilling lives. Donations in this area will support the expansion of residential options, ensuring people have access to safe, supportive, and inclusive living environments.

Our vision is growing. We are planning to create a cutting-edge training center featuring high-tech tools like virtual reality equipment to enhance learning and job readiness. This innovative approach will open new doors for our participants, equipping them with the skills they need for the jobs of today—and tomorrow.
